Quay Oval Coffee Table
Impressiveness and gracefulness are equally expressed in Quay coffee table.
It is perfect to be placed in front of sofas and armchairs in modern living rooms. The trestle structure of the base, made of solid Canaletta walnut, elegantly supports the thin marble top -available in different finishes of the collection- which seems to float delicately from the legs. Available in two different shapes and sizes, oval or rectangular, this coffee table fits classy into any environment in which it is placed, from the most classic to the most modern one. In the oval version, the design is characterised by a pleasant contrast of geometries, obtained thanks to the combination of the top with the rectangular frame that acts as its support. Brushed brass or black chrome end-feet complete the frame of this modern coffee table, adding a touch of brightness.
Gabriele Buratti, architect and professor of interior architecture at the Design department of Politecnico di Milano and Oscar Buratti, architect, together founded the BURATTI ARCHITETTI studio. The Studio has a multidisciplinary practice, which covers buildings and urban areas, architecture to interiors, furniture and object design, as well as design of exhibitions and showrooms. An intense and varied professional path in which themes, places and typologies, brands and people, materials and craftsmanship, mingle together. Buratti brothers share with Porada the intention of combining culture and professional specialization, experimentation and technique, original visions, and product quality. “We don’t believe in striking gestures, but in the ability to transfer into the object a broader view of the space, good technique and care of detail.”
