Softness, comfort and a linear design characterise the imposing Étienne modular sofa.
This modern sofa presents an extremely cosy seat that ensures an immediate feeling of comfort. Étienne features pewter grey metal feet with wooden inserts. The high level of comfort is provided by combination the Memory Foam and by Microflock – 100% recycled polyester – of the seat and back cushions. The latter make Étienne’s seat ergonomic and enveloping, while the several decorative cushions enhance the aesthetics through the skilful use of leather and fabrics. The seats are available in different sizes and can be combined with elements of various shapes. It is possible to create multiple compositions to suit the needs of any living environment.
Emanuela Garbin and Mario dell’Orto founded Opera Work in Progress in 1990 to combine the different experiences they had gained in the same professional background, in particular industrial design, planning and product design; they have created numerous products for Porada including the successful Giolino and Giolo mirrors, the Daphne armchair and the Chantal console.
Porada
Everything ‘s born from the love of wood. The solid wood, worked with the craftsmanship of those who know how to turn a log into a piece of artwork. Porada has its origin in this passion. It was established in 1968 by Luigi Allievi with the aim of expanding the production of chairs, started in 1948.
The Porada collection is wide and varied, made up of a multitude of occasional furniture developed in cooperation with designers as Marconato and Zappa, Carlo Ballabio, David Dolcini, Emmanuel Gallina, Patrick Jouin, Tarcisio Colzani, Staffan Tollgard, Studio Opera, Gino Carollo, Dainelli Sudio and Studio Buratti among the others.
