Eckig is a square-shaped solid walnut coffee table with rounded corners.
Conceived by the designer duo Marconato and Zappa, Eckig coffee table can be coupled and stacked, thanks to the different heights of the feet. The tabletop has a soft shape and is available in marble or wood with crossed inlays. The combination of noble materials such as wood and marble creates a fascinating game of contrasts making it extremely elegant and refined. The distinguishing element are the wooden legs, which are characterised by a special shaped form. The Eckig coffee table fits into any environment and furnishes living areas with a contemporary and modern style. Porada’s ability to combine craftsmanship with new design ideas also stands out in this piece of furniture.

Maurizio Marconato – 1961 and Terry Zappa – 1963 were both born in Como. They studied architecture at Politecnico di Milano University, where they graduated with honours in 1986. After few years of experience, in 1991 they founded Studio Marconato & Zappa Architetti Associati. They have worked in the design field since 1981, creating products for major home and office furniture companies, working together through all the steps of bringing a design to the market, from the main concept to the marketing, and supporting them with graphic, photography and creation of exhibition stands. Their collaboration with Porada has led to the creation of many sophisticated design products, including the wonderful Pilar table.
